HEALTH, SAFETY AND ENVIRONMENT POLICY

It is the commitment and policy of Sono Nigeria Limited:

» to comply with all Health, Safety and Environmental legal and statutory requirements guiding our business activities
» to provide a safe workplace to all our employees, contractors/contractor employees and other stakeholders including those who may be affected by our work activities;
» to provide adequate control of the health and safety risks arising from our work activities;
» to consult with our employees on matters affecting their health and safety;
» to provide and maintain safe plant and equipment;
» to ensure safe handling and use of substances;
» to provide information, instruction and supervision for employees;
» to ensure all employees are competent to do their tasks, and to give them adequate training;
» to prevent accidents and cases of work-related ill health;
» to preserve the environment by ensuring that our work activities do not have a negative impact on the environment.
» to maintain safe and healthy working conditions; and to review and revise this policy as necessary at regular intervals.

In view of this, all Managers, Departmental Heads, Team Leaders, Engineers, Project Specialists, Captains, Supervisors Foremen and all company's employees must ensure they understand their specific and general safety responsibilities and ensure strict compliance to all company safety rules, industry code of work practices, guidelines and procedures and to all legal and statutory requirements governing our business activities.
